SUBMISSIONS THAT DO NOT FOLLOW THE GUIDELINES WILL NOT BE REVIEWED AND WILL BE RETURNED TO THE AUTHORS.

1. Papers submitted to the Eurasian Economic Review may not be under review for publication in any other journal.
2. Articles must be submitted in English. Use proper spelling, grammar, punctuation, capitalization and sentence structure. We accept American/Canadian/British spellings (i.e., behavior or behaviour).
3. Any hypotheses are explicitly identified as such.
4. Acknowledgment of financial support may be given in the text as a footnote rather than in the abstract, if appropriate.
5. Articles may not be longer than 30 pages (including references, tables, figures, and appendixes) typed in 1.5 line spacing with 12-point Times New Roman font using the Harvard referencing system. Please see “Sample References” section for details.
6. Page margins must be one inch top, bottom, and each side. The font, margin, and line-spacing requirements are also binding for reference lists. Abstract should be written with 10-point Times New Roman font.

Figures and Tables:

1. All figures, tables, illustrations, etc. should be placed in the text at the appropriate places, rather than at the end.
2. Number each table separately using Arabic numerals along with the section number (i.e. Table 3.1). Specify the desired location of each table in the text. Type a brief title above each table.
3. Number each graph separately using Arabic numerals along with the section number (i.e. Graph 3.1). Specify the desired location of each graph in the text. Type a brief title under each table.

During the submission process, you will be asked to upload:

• a cover letter
• an anonymous copy of the paper for blind refereeing
• a separate title page indicating the title of the paper, author’s affiliations, emails, and contact information with the corresponding author indicated.

Please strictly follow the submission guidelines. There will be a desk rejection and if your paper passes the desk rejection, papers will be sent to the referee(s) and go through a blind peer-reviewing process. The final decision about papers accepted for publication will be given by the editors of the journal.

As a summary:

1. Citations in the text must appear as name and date within parentheses (e.g., Taziki, 2009) and complete references must be listed alphabetically at the end of the paper.
2. Authors cited in that text should be written as: Cormack (1994, pp.32-33) states…
3. When a cited work has three or more authors in the text, the form (main author et al., year) is used. (Don’t forget to italicize et al.)
4. Online citations include the date of access.
5. Cited works that are chapters in a book or articles in a magazine include page numbers.
6. Ampersand (&) is not used, unless it is a widely used expression (e.g., R&D), or included in a company name (e.g., Standard & Poor’s).
7. When reference is made to more than one work by the same author(s) published in the same year, each citation is identified in the text in the form (Schendel, 2005a, 2005b). These references must alphabetized by article title.

There will be a submission fee of 50 Euros. However, this fee will be waived if the presented papers at EBES conferences are submitted to the Eurasian Economic Review within two months after the corresponding conference ends.

The data used in the paper must be clearly and precisely documented and are readily available to any researcher for purposes of replication. Eurasian Economic Review keeps its right to request any empirical work, simulations, or experimental work, data, programs, and other details used in the paper from the authors.
