On behalf of the organizing committee, I would like to invite you to participate in the 19th EBES Conference, in Istanbul, Turkey, which will bring together many distinguished researchers from all over the world. Participants will find opportunities for presenting new research, exchanging information, and discussing current issues. Although we focus on Europe and Asia, all papers from major economics, finance, and business fields - theoretical or empirical - are highly encouraged.
Qualified papers will be published in the EBES journals (Eurasian Business Review and Eurasian Economic Review). EBES journals are published by Springer. In addition, based on our agreement with Economic Modelling, Journal of International Financial Markets Institutions & Money, and Studies in Economics and Finance, the best papers presented at the conference will be invited for formal submission and consideration for publication in one of these three journals. Final decision on paper acceptance will be conveyed to corresponding authors within one month. The details for submission for these three journals will be communicated after the conference.
Moreover, all the submitted full papers will be included in the conference proceedings CD. After the conference, participants will also have the opportunity to send their paper to be published in the Springer’s series Eurasian Studies in Business and Economics. This will also be sent to Thomson Reuters in order to be reviewed for coverage in its Conference Proceedings Citation Index. Please note that the 10th, 11th, 12th, and 13th EBES Conference Proceedings are accepted for inclusion in the Conference Proceedings Citation Index. Subsequent conference proceedings are in progress.
Several distinguished academicians will join us as invited speakers including Prof. M. Hashem Pesaran who is the John Elliot Distinguished Chair in Economics at the University of Southern California and Emeritus Professor of Economics at the University of Cambridge. He was named one of “The World’s Most Influential Scientific Minds 2014” by Thomson Reuters in 2014 and is seen as one of the potential Nobel Prize winners for contributions to econometric time-series. He has over 175 publications published in leading scientific journals and his research has been cited almost 50K times according to Google Scholar.
Abstract submission for the 19th EBES Conference is now open. For online submission, please click here. I would also like to remind you that the deadline for abstract submission is February 28th, 2016.
I look forward to receiving your submissions and seeing you on May 26-27-28, 2016 in Istanbul, Turkey.
